Mission Statement |

Our mission is to
provide for our community a performing art series that
creates an increased level of visibility and stronger
presence for the arts and humanities. A core goal of the
Association is to sponsor educational and cultural
activities that encourage both participation in the arts
and growth of the arts and humanities among all age
groups in the greater Dan River Region.

Coming on May 1, 2010, the
best party of the Spring Season - the Third Running of the
"Danville Downs" at the Danville Golf Club....
A fundraising event for the Danville Association for the
Arts & Humanities.
Be there to cheer as your sponsored horse competes to
win. Root for your best girl or guy in the beautiful hat
contest. Share the excitement of the running of the actual
Kentucky Derby. Enjoy delicious hors d'oeuvres, and sip Mint
Juleps (or other tasty beverages).
Those present will have lots of chances to win some great prizes
too!
